BIOGRAPHY

Ever since childhood fairy tales and myths have fascinated me. I was often found sketching animals and various mystical creatures. But I never ended up pursuing art in my studies.

In 2000 I received my medicine degree. Shortly thereafter I began interacting with patients who consisted of mostly children. Every morning I would surprise them with a new animal drawing on the board, taking a great pride in making them happy. As a doctor, I eased their pain physically but as an artist I was able to make them forget that they were sick.

This was a truly inspiration for me to paint for other children. I have seen and am certain it will have the same effect on other children.
